Malik and Tracy did their Nigerian Traditional Wedding in Tracy’s village, Mosogar in Delta State.
It was interesting being in that kind of evironment away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Weddings around the Delta region are very different from the ones in the west so this was definitely a “breath of fresh air”.
Malik is from Edo state and you will see this in the clothes he is wearing. A very determined Total Nig Limited Staff, he was ready to let that determination win him a wife today.
The wedding as in the Niger Delta parts starts with the brides dressing up for her day. The groom buys changes of clothes for the bride as a show of his ability to take care of his bride and while the haggling is on for the bride price, the bride adorns herself with the new wardrobe she has.
That was the case of Tracy. She had three changes of clothes to wear before her presentation to her husband.
