Nnenna was a friend from my banking days and ever since we had waited for this day to come. It did not take the wisdom of Solomon to realize she loved being in love wit Jake. The signs were very clear to all who saw them. I met Jake first when I did their pre wedding session and frankly I was expecting a challenge at getting him to love taking pictures. Jake was no problem at all; warm and humorous, he kept Nnenna laughing all through and his bubbles was what we rode through out that session. Those pictures will be here soon.
Nnenna was ready a long time ago for her wedding day so this was just a formality.
The event was put together by the excellent Enthyst Events of Dolphin Estate. You couldn’t be happier than Mrs Ndidi Obioha as she bounded all over the place putting things in order.
MJ of Zaron made up the bride exquisitely. You can’t do better than MJ.
Even the children where not left out in their preparation for this day.
And they took time to cross check they where fashionable with their friends.
While Nnenna was still trying to get ready, Jake was already calling to say he was ready.
The groom and his enforcer.
Jake wasted no time in leaving his hotel for the venue. He was in a hurry to marry Nnenna. 🙂 Who wont be?
Meanwhile, Nnenna rushed into her gown and wasted no time in leaving as well. To meet a waiting groom. After all the ceremonies where done, it was time to kiss the bride and that is not a strange thing.
This child was the strange occurrence. Smart girl!!! One eye open to learn how its done. A reference for the future. This lady was not subscribing to all that adult content only. She was all “Eyes Wide Shut”. After the cutting of the cake, this young man was called to sing a song for the couple and he rendered masterfully, Unforgettable by Nat King Cole and I assure you King Cole would have been proud of him. It inspired these moments……………. And this look…………This look says it all. The Toast was given by this beautiful lady and she told us the story of how Jake met Nnenna and couldn’t stop coming to Lagos from PH every weekend. ………..after then it was dance, dance, dance!!
This is an appropriate time to introduce Mr Kingsley Eghomwanre! Watch out…………and his wife. Jake also threw the garter which was snatched from the air by one of his friends. and Nnenna did not throw her bouquet! She gave it out piece by piece as an enticement to all the ladies to come out and do a line dance with her. As Jake gave the vote of thanks, you would think it was time to leave……………..For where? This event just started. First, Kingsley Eghomwanre and this young man below gave us the dance steps of the oldies!! Including Michael Jacksons crotch grabbing moves But even they were stunned when these kids started the dance of the now………………AZONTO!!!!!
See Kingsleys face looking stunned as he was upstaged!!
Nnenna and Jake had fun on their wedding day, surrounded by friends, colleagues and family.
