Licence to Love: Double 0 1

Isioma said she saw a friends wedding I shot some 2 years ago( ) and bookmarked my page knowing that when her time came she would call me to shoot her wedding. After being told by her event planners again Zapphaire  Events to call me for her wedding, she knew fate was bringing us together for her wonderful day.

So we met on the day of this shoot for the first time. When I saw her and Vinny, you could see she was in love with Vinny and Vinny was smitten by her and it didnt shock me. What shocked me though was the fact that strolling behind them was her mum who had come to see the prewedding session.

Was i apprehensive? Of course? Can you kiss your fiancee in the presence of your mother in law? Can you hold her, i mean like HOLD her the way you would want? I thought, Yikes!!! How do i pull this off?

How wrong i was. Momsie was directing this whole event; Telling Isi to relax, to hold him well, to ease into the flow of things. Huh!!!

We started our shoot from a Cinema hall, sneaking in just after a movie ended to quickly do a 12mins shoot before the people who had paid for the next movie came in.

While we waited,  i decided to take a quick shot of the “mushyness” this two love birds were displaying and i must ask here, Isioma are you sure you have never met Collin Farrel? Vinny, watch your back, the way Collin was staring at you calls for concern.
I had to make the couple the focus of the cinema so their love could be watched as well………………See the shadows in the wall.  Vinny was keen to reenact the scene of his proposal before we left the hall.  After that it was outside at the Senate building area of the University of Lagos….ehmm, sorry, Maulag……

I couldnt help but to sneak in this photograph of everyone together. With Momsie if Isiomas sister. If you are interested, call me to book your wedding date, pay and then we can go try convince her that you are “The One”………….from the Matrix.
